Let's Celebrate!

On Saturday, June 17 we will host a Pot Luck BBQ in Mercer County Park.  The event will coincide with the championship game of our Sand Volleyball League, so spectators are welcome to come early to start the party and/or cheer on our volleyball players. 

MCCS will provide: 

BBQ Chicken

BBQ Hot Dogs

Plates, silverware, napkins

Fixins (mustard, ketchup, relish)

Ice and Cooler Space

Hot coals for anything else you may wish to grill

We encourage athletes to bring:

a side dish, salad, main course, or desert that will serve 4-8 people (we encourage you to proudly represent your cultural heritage through food!)

Drinks  

Folding chairs or blankets (there will be some picnic tables available but not enough to go around)

We are not restricting or organizing what food is brought to the party - it will be a true "Pot Luck".  

In addition, we will be bringing plenty of sports equipment and encourage players to bring what they would like as well.  There is a large field available to organize games as well as sand volleyball courts reserved for our use.  We could easily run pickup games of flag football, Ultimate, volleyball, kickball, wiffleball, or just play catch. 

We ask players to "Register" for this event so we have an idea of how much food we will need to provide.  We will also communicate specific last minute details and reminders about the event only to those who are registered.  

There is no cost to attend, just your continued enthusiasm and support of our growing community!
